What is my reasoning to say women shouldn’t? I’m not making blanket statements about qualifications. People can learn how to do things through observation. You may not be qualified to give Aaron Rodgers advice about being a QB, but if you know plenty about football, you could teach a kid how to play the position.
I don’t have a dog in this fight. I just don’t like blanket statements. There are plenty of parents who are not even remotely qualified to give advice on parenting, and plenty of nonparents who are reasonable and observant enough to have decent insight.

We've already determined that one doesn't have to have children to give good advice
We've also determined they have no credibility.
Unless said advice validates what we know, it's useless

Apparently so

Again with the broad statements. There are a lot of facets to parenting. Plenty of which even other parents have never encountered. You’re taking this very seriously. Why?

The credibility of the giver has no bearing on the validity of the advice.
If you chose to ignore good advice from someone you deem incapable of giving that advice, it's on you.

But if correct advice is given from someone who doesn't have enough experience in the field to be an expert, it would be stupid to dismiss.
But are they right often enough to pay attention to in the first place? The The guy waiting tables at Red Lobster might know a thing or two about divorce law but I'm not going to seek out legal advice from him nor am I going to take any legal advice he gives seriously.

Seriously? It's simple. Non parents have no credibility. There's nothing complicated about it. Don't get your feelings hurt

Sound like you are a shitty parent and want to be able to use the scapegoat of "you just don't understand".

Credibility is not required for a fact to be factual.

Thought that way at one point. Till I had a son and it was the greatest thing in my life. Each day is better than the next, have never felt so much love.

Kids are dumb
I think we can all agree in that

Could be it
Do shitty parents know or even think they might be shitty parents?

I got my MBA from several teachers who have been a career lifelong teacher and never set foot into the real world of business, NEVER. Should I have not listened to any of his or their advice because they never practiced what they preach/teach in the real world.

My feelings aren’t hurt. You’re being irrational. How do you seek advice about parenting? From child psychologists, but only ones who have parented children with your specific concern? That has to be exhausting to vet.
