That would be to my detriment.

By that reasoning, men should never be OBGYNs.

There are many reasons why. And you should never do it.

Did it once. The child's father was in the picture, decent dad, paid child support, had the kid nearly 50/50 split, etc...

Even when the kid was away, 99% of her time was spent worrying about him and freaking out about shite that wasn't a big deal.

It's a damn shame, but you are right. It's not worth the hassle.

I think you missed the point here.

I knew what you were trying to say but I just pointing out that you have to have kids to be a parent.

No one said it did.

You don't need experience to be right though.

Who cares if he would listen? How receptive you are to advice isn't for me to decide. That doesn't change the quality of the advice.

Yeah basically the only time kids are worth the hassle are when they're your own.

Well, since you brought it up, there are lots of women that won't see a male OBGYN.

If it's something as simple as "keep your head down"? Yes.

Only if you already knew.

If you were seeking advice you'd want another opinion.

Here's what started this conversation:

No issue with them until they try to provide advise on kids or parenting. Then, frick em.

We've already determined that one doesn't have to have children to give good advice. If someone were to offer you good advice and you ignored it for those reasons, it would just be an example of poor judgement on your part.

That was the point.

No shite. I already said that.

But if correct advice is given from someone who doesn't have enough experience in the field to be an expert, it would be stupid to dismiss.
