My mom for awhile out of no where went to a nutritionist who said she was gluten and dairy intolerant...she was convinced it cleared up so many problems.... cleary it was a bullshite fad phase as she visited us a few weeks ago and was eating pizza and fancy cheeses like it was going out of style.

I would love free potatoes and salsa. Could whip up some righteous potato tacos or breakfast tacos or a bitchin frittata (for those with gluten allergies).

My only 2 cents is this - this mother should take all the free stuff she can get
Whatever she can eat, she should eat, and save whatever food stamp money she gets to buy the daughter’s more expensive foods she needs
Food bank food & WIC items - there should be a few things the little girl can eat - to save money mom could eat the rest - buy the special milk and breads for the child with the food stamps
If money is that tight - she can figure it out. Many people do.
