I am bad at da maffs.
In short, I want to know how many gallons will a 4 acre pond (with an average depth of 4 feet) hold?
My degree in Covidian Diasporic Gender Studies is not coming in handy. Oh, I almost forgot it’s the OT...pics will be requested:

1 acre = 43560 ft^2
Times 4 ft deep = 174,240 ft^3
Ft^3 to gallons of water... well I’ll let you work that one out.

Figure out how many gallons fit in 696,960 cu ft.
Eta; Its 7.841 gallons to the cu ft. So 5,464,863.36 gallons.

Multiply average length (feet) x average width (feet) x average water depth (feet) x 7.48 gallons per cubic foot.
One acre is 208.71 feet × 208.71 feet
So...
4(208.71 x 208.71) x 4 x 7.48 = 5,213,244.535488
So roughly 5,213,245 gallons.
One acre is 208.71 feet × 208.71 feet
So...
4(208.71 x 208.71) x 4 x 7.48 = 5,213,244.535488
So roughly 5,213,245 gallons.

I'm getting a little more....
((43,560×4)×4)×7.841=5,464,863.36
43560 being sq feet in an acre
4 being number acres
4 being average water depth
7.841 being number of gallons in a cu ft
((43,560×4)×4)×7.841=5,464,863.36
43560 being sq feet in an acre

You’re using the wrong number for gallons/cu ft.
