This is utterly irritating beyond belief.
Trying to find my daughter some Nike, UA, NB whatever jogging pants for field day tomorrow and every single fricking store is depleted.
Academy usually has nothing in store
Pricks Sporting goods.
Dillards
Belk

Let me help you here for future.

All of those stores have a decent inventory management system. You can search the inventory online and determine if a store has what you want before driving out to it. Then I'll order it online for pickup and call to verify when the order says it's Ready.

Dad of 4 here. Been in your shoes plenty times. But I'm an IT dork and learned how to search these stores' websites from Lafayette to New Orleans and Baton Rouge to North Shore.

ETA: A pretty good freeze a couple years ago prompted me to use this tactic to find faucet covers in South Louisiana just hours before the freeze. They were sold out all around Baton Rouge. I found some at LaPlace Home Depot and ordered them suckers. Then drove down from Baton Rouge to get them. Beat the freeze/bedtime by 2 hours.

She is 12 so it's pretty specific. Can't be leggings; must be fleece.

She really wants LuLu Lemon but no one around here sells that stuff.

it's 5:30 pm, you're looking for something you want tomorrow and angry at retailers for not being prepared.

Makes sense.

There are currently 78 container ships sitting outside of Long Beach, CA (down from 109 a couple months ago). That is approximately 1.2million containers of goods.

California being needlessly shut down for so long fricked things up for years probably.

Kids are frickin idiots. It's really their fault.
They do shite like this:
"Oh yea mom. I have a project due tomorrow. I need to grow some potatoes in a garden and measure them over 5 weeks."

Well when no one can ship out of the largest port in the world, this is what you get.

Yeah, Lulu tends to not sell near poverty stricken neighborhoods.
