I’m looking for an attorney to take care of a speeding ticket in Fort Worth for me. I would take care of it myself but I’m in Midland and I can’t really afford to take the time off of work.

I’m preferably looking to get it knocked down to a non-moving violation but I’ll take deferred adjudication if I have to. TIA.

Wouldn't that cost more than just paying it?

taking an online course keeps it off of your record, or at least keeps it from your insurance company

Probably, but my driving record is important in my line of work and I would rather pay more to make it disappear.

I know a guy that clerked for the Jefferson Parish Sheriff's Office, and the District Attorney during law school. I think he posts here.

I could easily get it taken care of in Louisiana, this is in Fort Worth though.

Here's the guy who I refer all tickets to in Dallas. I'm sure he can handle Fort Worth or recommend someone if he cannot.

Traffic ticket lawyer John Gioffredi

From his website, says we fight every case, except

quote:

Traffic tickets are an exception to this rule. The main goal in a traffic ticket case is to keep it off of your record, and that is something that we can generally do better through a plea agreement. Whether we get the ticket dismissed outright, or whether we work a deal to have you on probation or to take a defensive driving course, we will do everything possible to keep that ticket from appearing on your record.

What is PTI?

Is it the thing where you take a course and they drop the ticket? If so, I’ve done that before and I don’t think they’ll let you do it twice.
