I was trying to put some of the cheaper options from the top shelf guys.

As for a bigger humidor, get this container, two of these trays, and some Boveda and you'll be good to go

One of my current favorites.

Pretty much can't go wrong with anything that AJ Fernandez does.

as far as not breaking the bank, I have found that Holts is pretty solid and they have some good prices on samplers. The samplers are a great way to figure out what you like.

Also take a look at Smallbatchcigar.com once you know what you are into, they run daily specials of 15-20% off on certain brands 5 packs and boxes plus free shipping.

I’ve heard about people going this route. I’d be so afraid of too much sunlight, I wouldn’t want to store them anywhere but the closet.

Ever tried an ice chest?

no I haven't. I keep mine in a dresser drawer so it never sees sunlight.

I use a tuppordor to store all my boxes of cigars. I keep it slid under my bed.

I have a regular 50ct wood humidor for my single sticks that I usually pick up from the B&M.

My biggest issue isn’t keeping my RH right. It’s the damn temp. This past winter I was constantly moving my cigars to different rooms. My bed room is always the temp my thermostat is set on, but my guest room is always depending on the weather, 5 deg hotter or 5 deg colder. And thanks to our Louisiana random temp swings, I’ll have sticks that’s perfect to smoke at the moment and a few hours later the cool weather will deter that.

I need to go ahead and break down and get one of these.

Oh, I post this while smoking a Monte No. 4

Cigar monster is another one to avoid

To respond to your earlier post, one of my first cigars was a Montecristo. I was hooked. I don’t remember the exact blend, but I knew then I was a cigar guy.

Those wine cooler type humidors are awesome. There are some great videos out there showing how to convert an actual wine cooler into one as opposed to spending the money for one designed to be a humidor.

I am intrigued...I have a small wine cooler that crapped out on us recently. Never thought to convert it. I will have to look into this. A

Those have been out of stock for six months at least. When I decided to get back into the hobby, I tried to buy all of the cigar of the year winners from the last few years to resupply. Couldn’t get that one.

I used to smoke years ago before I got married. Been thinking of trying it again now that I’m divorced and trying to find ways to relax and get to know who I am again. Long story short any ones to try and get affiliated with them again?

How long of a smoke do you get out of Nubs? I’m curious about them, but don’t want to be lighting them back to back because I only get 30 minutes out of it.

There are so many good smokes out there, it’s hard to say where to even start

I bought a bunch of cigar of the years and a few samplers like this one from CI LINK and later this one which I’m smoking a stick from now LINK
