I drove by there on my way to Parrains around 6:30. Could have been me...that did the shooting.

I was there once about 10 years ago when I adopted my dog from the Baton Rouge Animal Shelter. It seemed like a good place and what the frick is wrong with people?

I can’t help but think how shocked coach Kelly and his family must be about the rampant crime on/nearby campus. You know his wife is second guessing living less than a mile from campus for recruiting advantages lol

I was surprised to learn, after reading your post, that Baton Rouge and South Bend, IN actually have comparable crime rates. They probably aren’t as surprised as you think in BR.

Locals cut through the dog park parking lot at all hours since it connects Louise to dalrymple

Also a great post game LSU traffic secret that a lot of people don’t realize

It happened at the bathrooms. Sketchy mother frickers are always hanging out around there. I assume it's a dealer hangout or something.

The report I heard was the bathroom area was wet because of all the rain. The gun of a CCP holder accidently discharged when he slipped in a poodle...

was a college student living in Park Plaza apartments next to that park in 1979. People were constantly being robbed while I was there, and all of the tenants were jumpy as hell because of it. I was actually in the process of moving out and got robbed at gunpoint in the parking lot. Then the real kicker was my apartment being burglarized before I could get all my stuff out of it.

I lived there as a student from ‘81 to ‘83. Don’t recall any criminal activity or concerns back then but did catch a rat the size of a small dog that I suspect came from the hood in the back.

Nah, that motherfricker used to swim laps after midnight in that green assed swimming pool that was in the center of the courtyard. He was a fixture around there.

Yeah well he needed to go. Ate about half a loaf of my bread one night but I got his arse the next night. It was a shame that pool was so shitty. We had some hot coeds living there at the time and we sure could have had fun at the pool.

It hasn't always been this way. There was a time when BR didn't have the death culture it has today.

People need to get their shite together as was once the norm. But that's asking too much from those "raising" kids who try and burn down a strip mall, etc.

This is unsustainable.
