Cansecos - Chicken Salad and Turkey (Sliced from the deli)

Fresh Market - Fruit (Blueberries, Bananas, and Raspberries)

Rouses - Everything else

Ideal Mart - Mexican shite

Target for non perishables
Whole Foods for fruit and vegetables (overpriced meat if I’m lazy)
Rouses for meat / dairy/ other cold stuff

Consecos during the week for anything I missed since it’s walking distance.

I go to 1 store for everything. Sometimes Walmart, sometimes Brookshire’s.

Rouse 2-3 times a week for fresh vegetables and meat

Sam's 1 or 2 times a month for bulk items and sometimes steaks or ground beef.

WalMart for everything else as needed. My local Wal Mart is very clean, well stocked and not a bad place to shop at all. Unlike some other stores I've been in where everything is locked up and theres no one there to help you.

I’m trashy as frick so I get all my groceries from Walmart pickup and it’s cheap as frick compared to Rouses and other grocery stores. If i buy all my weekly things at Rouses, I’m paying EASILY $175 but at Walmart I pay no more than $120 on a bad week. I’m usually around $100 for a family of four.

Kroger for 90% of things... Costco run once a month or so.

Occasionally a Trader Joe's or Whole Foods trip if there's something in particular I want.

What’s your secret? Canned food and cereal?

We spend about $250/week on a family of four. But we don’t hold back on buying higher quality proteins and vegetables/fruits at Costco.

I do 3/4 of the shopping at Kroger, then the international grocery for produce and sometimes meat. Stuff is literally 1/3 the price at international stores compared to regular grocery stores.

Kroger and Sam's.

I go to Corner Market for Deli sometimes though. It's really good.

Living with Mom to keep her out of assisted living/retirement home, I'll go to whichever has the best specials and Neighborhood Walmart (the little grocery Walmarts are still in NELA) and we like the eggs at Mac's (locally sourced and cheap, Mom bakes sweets so uses a lot of eggs).

My place mid nowhere NWLA, only 1 grocery store within 17 miles so talking 2 hours minimum round trip + shopping to go anywhere else.

wife shops:

walmart.com and curbside pick-up: basics (weekly)
Alexander's market on Highland for Meats, fruits, dinner needs for the day (3-5 times a week)
whole foods for products she can eat with her food allergies plus fruit when we go there (about every 6-8 weeks)
Trader Joe's - Hash browns (2-4 times a year)
Rouses for Pillsbury flour (self rising and bread flour)

I stop at Rouses or Alexanders for quick pick-ups on the way home
