This is one of the reasons I don't think any teenager should be given any kind of "status" car from their parents.

Don't worry, he didn't. A mustang is not a status car.

I thought about doing this myself but decided to go with a butterfly knife instead. That way not only could he free himself from a tangled sheet, he also had the added benefit of instant street cred with all the other kids at preschool.

Obvious troll warrants an obvious response.

Lemme know when these things start happening with rules. I need to go find that guy who broke the pool stick across my back while I was playing video poker.

It's been ten years, but he broke the rules.

Why not let him be a world champion knitter, electrician, or some other trade.

Being able to do idiotic poses while pretending to fight is hardly noteworthy.

I can't say much, my first vehicle..I went through the transmission, and the mechanics didn't want to repair it because they said a 16 year old shouldn't have it.

And at the same time, i paid for the car.

Keep in mind this is high school are kids we're talking about. Unless things have changed with teens more than I realized since my heyday in the mid 80's, a nice Mustang GT is still considered a pretty sweet ride by most teens.

I figured it would be much safer - you don't want a 15 yr. old in something slow so he ends up getting hit pulling into traffic. You want to be able to respond to oncoming threats with ample acceleration.

I'm sure this is exactly how a 15yr old Taekwondo World Champion will use this power.

Congrats. Your son will now be viewed as a douche by his classmates.

I'm pretty sure this is as false as it gets.

EDT: For the record, I'm not a Mustang fan either but having a car like this in HS is pretty awesome.

Guess it's different now. I'm more of a motorcycle guy so I've not kept up with what's cool in cars nowadays. Back in my day, this is what we thought of when it came to Mustangs....

What's considered "cool" muscle cars now?

muscle cars are overly barbaric for the new wave of youth these days. Now they like them ford focus type transgendered cars.
