Oct 23, 1918. There are 365 people on board, all soon to be dead. The SS Princess Sophia sits on Vanderbilt Reef. By the time this picture was taken, several rescue boats had arrived to rescue all on board, but were waived off by the crew as they thought the tide would lift them off the reef.
On October 25, the storm picked up again and the crew called for help. Too late, the boat slipped off the reef and all 365 people on board died when it slipped underwater.
When a rescue ship arrived the next morning, the mast was the only thing visible. Only one dog survived.

The tribe on North Sentinel Island, who have had no friendly contact with anybody outside of their island for as long as anybody has known about them, knew to go to the highest spot on the island when the ocean retreated.
I’m assuming we’re able to see their movement by satellite, and that was the source of this info. But primitive civilizations like theirs know what to do.

I wonder how many times he's been beaten and sodomized in prison.
Probably not nearly enough.

Hillsborough Stadium in Sheffield, South Yorkshire, England on 15 April 1989, moments before a deadly human crush occurred, with 96 deaths and 766 injuries.

There’s a famous photo found at a convenience store parking lot of a teenage girl and a young boy bound and gagged in the back of a van.
i was coming to post this

The girl is believed to be Tara Calico who disappeared in 1988. The culprit was never found.
i don't think that's really been confirmed and it's much more likely the 2 kids are unidentified, which is crazy-scary
i developed a rough outline for a movie based around that whole thing (finding that photo in a parking lot)

That was a retarded situation. Fans just cramming in.

Shortly before kick-off, in an attempt to ease overcrowding outside the entrance turnstiles, the police match commander David Duckenfield ordered exit gate C opened, leading to an influx of even more supporters to the pens.[1] This led to a crowding in the pens and the crush.

Here is the video!
I'm no skydiver, but I feel like a parachute wouldn't work right by the falls even if it deployed. The falls create massive downdrafts and I feel like a chute wouldn't deploy in time because of them. Or the parachute would get sucked back into the falls and destroyed.
