Thought some folks would enjoy this...

Includes the Lockheed Constellation bar, some cool 1960s motifs as well.

I didnt look at room rates...

It's architect, Eero Saarinen is the same guy who designed the Gateway Arch monument.

Been there. The terminal with the bars, gift shop, and plane turned into another bar are incredible. Absolute first class.

The hotel and pool with real views are great too.

One of the best spaces I’ve ever been in. They did an incredible job.

I've stayed there twice- One was an overnight, the other a day rate.

Bed was super comfy with noise cancelling windows, pretty cool memorabilia around the room. It is also connected to T5 via the tunnels. Pool view is super cool as well from the rooftop. The gym was surprisingly good as well in the basement area. I'll see if I can find some pics from my stays

My wife and I stayed there 3 years ago and it was really cool. We stayed on the side where you can see the runway.
Suprised me how quiet the rooms were but I guess they had to plan for that. The only negative is the time it takes to get into Manhatten.

I actually was there a few months back. The level of authenticity is astounding. The cross walk reminds me of the one from catch me if you can. The lobby is retro cool. I went during a layover. It was well worth it.

The wife (nopics) was still working for JetBlue when this opened so we went there not long after (side note: this was the week we went to see Book of Mormon on Broadway, HIGHLY recommend it). The literature from the times about flight service really underscores how far we've fallen as a society since then.

The payphones in the terminal actually work (but without the need for paying) so I called some friends on it just for shits and giggles.

People used to dress up when they travelled. Now they dress like they are going to cut the grass.

That's because it IS the one from Catch Me If You Can (there are actually two of them).

The family and I went there while visiting New York in 2019, just to check it out. We wound up spending about an hour and a half there, just wandering around looking at the architecture, the pool area, etc. and having a couple of drinks. It felt like you went back in time to the days of Mad Men-- we enjoyed it immensely.

I think it would great to stay there overnight before an overseas flight out of JFK.
