I got back from a trip and woke up in am with significant pain in both legs and fever. At first it was just leg below the knees but then my entire legs. Took a few Tylenols. Didn’t sleep worth a damn but got up after I got a few hours sleep took my vitamins and a few Aleve. Felt fine for few hours then serious pain in my rear left shoulder blade, lats. Put tens unit on it and with aleve it was gone. About 15 minutes later same type of pain in lower back. ( it’s like I have flu or something and aches and pains moving all over) tens unit anc it’s gone.

Then about 30 minutes later 8/10 pain in my left upper shoulder both front and back to such extent I am having difficulty breathing. I get my son to fetch the oxygen meter 95%. Then pain spikes to point it almost knocks me out and real difficulty breathing call for ambulance.

101 degrees but everything else is ok, neighbor who is doctor comes over and tells them to get me to hospital. After million damn blood test, X-ray, CT scans, Covid Flu etc test all negative. Pain is so damn bad it basically takes Dilotta to chill it. They rule out pulmonary embolism etc.

The Ambulance drivers both told me that had covid few weeks ago and was just like this but was in lower back. But covid test negative. I left ER last night with DX of unknown viral infection with complications.

Anyone seeing anything like this ?

No AID’s test?

Sounds a lot like AID’s. The kind gay black guys get.

I’m praying you recover. If you need anything, you know who to ask….

Friend,

In the summer of 2002, Mother had very similar symptoms plus a rash on her thighs. She ultimately was diagnosed with West Nile virus. She developed a neuropathy for several years as a result, but since, she has overcome it. I pray for your recovery.

Yours,

Covid 3.0. But the rollout wasn’t supposed to be until 2024. Maybe an early test strain?

I experienced 8/10 pain in my shoulder blade with a sudden onset.

Look up “ Parsonage - Turner Syndrome “ or acute brachial neuritis. A neurologist diagnosed me.

Hurts like hell and my left arm and hand don’t function well anymore.

Hope you get better and don’t have that shite. Rare diseases.org

I have no clue but it seems to me this is an argument to incorporate A.I. into the practice of medicine.
Type in the symptoms and get a likely diagnosis.Could save a lot of time and money not having to see a multitude of specialists to get a diagnosis.

Really the most important questions are about your recent travel.

Where did you go?
Did you go swimming?

Although a real doctor could correct me in that heavy pain on the left side and low o2 levels would indicate heart troubles, maybe a bronchial issue. Fever could be just from the pain.

My doctor told me there are a lot of viruses that we are exposed to that they don't test for. You could have some symptoms and nothing they check for comes up positive, but it could be one of all the other types not tested for, but its nothing life threatening. You might just have some type of virus that isn't tested for. If everything else checks out, don't worry about it. Im sure it will be gone in a few days.
