This is reminding me of the South Park episode where the news convinced all parents that child molestation was so rampant that kids weren't even safe with their parents so they were getting them out of the house because they didn't trust themselves.

Ohio has been as stringent if not the most stringent state in terms of locking things down during Covid and the governor for that state is as conservative of a republican as it gets.

Just got back from a week there. The COVID rules are awful have to mask up even in outdoor venues. We had to mask up to cut down Christmas trees.
