I've always what's made the A380 so problematic. On a side it was cool seeing several at LAX last week
I'm wondering what the issues are too. I flew on one from Frankfurt to Houston. Besides being convinced we were not going to get off the ground, it was pretty awesome.

I avoid Asian airlines for those reasons.

Missed their flight?

Looks more suspicious than just
missed flights
Per CNN LINK here
For instance, after the airline released a manifest, Austria denied that one of its citizens was onboard the flight as the list stated. The Austrian citizen was safe and sound, and his passport had been stolen two years ago, Austrian Foreign Ministry spokesman Martin Weiss told CNN.
Similarly, Italy's foreign ministry confirmed that no Italians were onboard MH370, even though an Italian was listed on the manifest. Malaysian officials said they were aware of reports that the Italian's passport was also stolen, but had not confirmed it.

Stolen passports? I'd say terrorism could be considered now.

Especially since it's from 2 unrelated people

Maybe those people really wanted their passports back.

I fly on 777 quite often. This has to be some serious mechanical issue. I have been following story thru night and thinking terrorist act

If the people have to be dead anyway, then I hope it was Al Qaeda. Nothing will solve the problem of those guys like getting a couple of billion pissed-off Chinese after them. It's not like the Chinese leaders have any issues with mass killing for personal/political reasons.

Eh, that is just considered population control to the Chinese government. In their minds, what are 170 people compared to 1.3 billion.

If I was a betting man I would lean towards terrorism at the moment. The passport thing combined with no distress signal at all and boeings sterling reputation is pretty telling

I'm thinking along the same lines. It just doesn't add up that there was no distress call. If it was terrorism, the question will be how or what was done. I'm not sure how good the security is there, but what type of terrorist act on a plane could bring a plane down and not allow the pilots a second to make a distress call?
Posted on 3/8/14 at 12:57 pm to tigerfan88
Sounds like if it was a terrorist attack, they failed to accomplish what they set out to do. Planes don't just disappear like that. Passengers probably said frick that shite.

I was thinking mechanical or pilot error, but two unrelated people who aren't on the flight when they were on the manifest? Terrorism right? But one would think a terrorist would make a bigger statement. Maybe hijack the plane and crash into a populated area. Unless the plane crashed during them being fought off.

I can buy this, knowing the background of their culture and education (memorization as opposed to understanding) and Asian drivers are some of the worst on the planet.
