I weirdly know every word to that song without knowing a single word of that song. If you listen to me sing it, you'd think I knew them all.

I am like that with that whole album. I used to put my earphones in and play NBA Live 95 for hours. I mumble through it with a few correct words sprinkled in.

Wake up, and I see that my sister was already dressed
She said: "I'ma run and go get my stamps
Watch and make sure no one snatches my check"
N****, that's the mailman
Sort through the mail and put it up into me pocket

Good example there. I thought I had that nailed and NOPE.

Wouldn't that be the album "Creepin on ah comeup?" NBA Live 95 was released in 1994 which was the same year as that album, both are classics though.

this was the 2nd CD i owned. the smelly kid in class, bobby, gave it to me for my burfday.
and our PE teacher let us bring CDs she’d play on the loud speaker while we would rollerblade around the basketball gym for PE class on cold days like the ...first of this moooonth.

eta: gosh i hope bobby turned his life around and changed a few habits to stop getting called the smelly kid.

I played that game for a couple years probably. But you are correct I used to listen to all that in my headphones.
