This thread is hilarious. For as anti triggering as this board is, there sure are alot of people triggered by something as small as a viewer discretion warning.

To be fair, those messages were for "Viewer discretion". These are warning you that you may be offended. I don't give shite either way because I'm not going to spend 6 hours watching Forrest Gump on broadcast television, but it is at least noteworthy that our society is so fragile these days that some people feel we need to be warned about the possibility of being offended.

This is a different warning. One can easily understand a warning about violence or sex, etc. to be aired, but this warning was different.
More along the lines of social justice snowflake warning.
