My 12 year old said it best the first time we saw one of the punks in our neighbor hood drive his squatted truck, " Dad is he pulling an invisible trailer". He was only 8 or 9 at the time.

I’ve got my truck set up like this. I don’t have any visibility problems because I drive around in reverse.

Funny thing is the Baja trucks aren’t squatted. They just lean slightly to the rear because the front suspension is beefed up and designed to handle jumps without crashing the front in.

First has a purpose and still looks good and you have a good field of vision.
Second pic is fricking stupid. I get leveling a truck or even putting a very slight lean on it by adding an extra inch to the front for an aggressive look, but a squatted truck is just awful

It wasn't intentional, just got in a hurry. The kid still has his truck set up like that, I would hate to see what happens when he a blows out front tire at highway speeds.

So these trucks can do this (without breaking)...
That's a long travel suspension setup on a 2WD dedicated off road only (not street legal) jumpworthy racing truck.
It turned into this...
Then eventually into the over-exaggerated fad of whatever name you want to call a static drop kit in the back and a lift kit in the front.
FTR, these guys do it better, because at least it's adjustable...
So these trucks can do this (without breaking)...
