Just clicked a link to a story and it says I can access articles for the next 6 months for a dollar for all 6 months. Not a dollar a month. A dollar for 6 months. Kinda sad.

I did enjoy nola.com before they decided to start charging. Now I don’t even bother clicking anything to do with them.
I now use this site and wwl.com to get my nola news info. But, feel the old NOLA had a wider range of New Orleans centric topics that I’m not able to fill that here or there.

I used to read the food/restaurant news on nola.com since I would go down a couple times a year. Budget cuts did away with the folks who wrote the better dining articles, and I decided to retire from visiting NOLA to avoid flying lead (we get enough around here), so I have not visited their site in many moons.
