this thread is simply a reaction to all the posts/threads celebrating Nike's stock dropping 3% the day of the ad's announcement

its just another example of how boycotts don't work, no matter how loudly people yell about it on social media

Can Nike donate some if that money to the south side of Chi Town to help the community? Even if they did the vultures in politics over there would take it all. Fake empathy Fake leaders Fake narrative that is your left today.

Went to Academy yesterday to get some shoes, it looked like all they had were Nikes in full display on shelves I know had other brands on it at one time... All the other brands were all on the back isles... It was interesting..

Came home with a pair of Asics...

Shut up you lib cuck. Wait til they feel the wrath of my cousin Boudreaux’s boycott. He used to buy a pair of nikes every other year. That’s serious business.

Yet, shopping in Baton Rouge last weekend, their shoes were on sale at two different stores.

...and just like that Trump got all those $15 an hour anti corporate buffoons to jump on board and enrich child labor world-wide.

Sometimes you just have to sit back and let Darwin run its course.

I think what we’re seeing is that affluent folks didn’t buy much Nike gear. I will definitely avoid them in the future, moreso because I hate companies that use controversy to try to sell stuff.

This is an absolutely ludicrous statement. Kaepernick merchandise may have jumped
61 % but to say the company has sold 61% more merch since the ad is grossly misleading.

That's not what the statement says. It says they sold out of 61% more items post ad release than they did pre ad release. Who knows what that means from an overall sales point, but it's probably a good sign for Nike.

It’s been pretty amazing how much trump has caused the stock market to move by just tweeting or talking on camera.

Everytime he does, he is making people lots and lots of money.

As soon as he does, stocks will dip and be worth buying and then it goes up.

Great news for Colin.
Hey Colin - at least half of that $6 Billion should be yours. If Nike doesn’t give you that then it’s because of your race. Sue ‘um. That’s your money. Don’t let them discriminate against you like that. If they don’t give it to you, protest...hit a knee in front of the Nike headquarters.
Go for it.
