NHL is better than the NBA

I used to play basketball everyday. I've never hated the sport more than I do when I watch the NBA.
Now that I live in Colorado I've been watching more hockey. These players are tough as balls and the game is intense the entire way through. Having the NHL playoffs and the NBA Playoffs on during the same time has been eye opening. Watched way more hockey than NBA.

i don't know shite about hockey. but, i could never figure out why they don't just get some fat frick that weighs about 1200 lbs and sit his big arse in front of the goal and tell him "don't move".

Playoff hockey is the best professional sort there is, but I also enjoyed watching Steph Curry this playoff season.

Put boards and glass up around the NBA courts, put hockey pads on NBA players and let them check each other NHL style.

Besides the fact that NHL>NBA in general, one of the best things about the difference between watching the two: rarely in the NHL is the game out of reach
Teams can be down 2-3 goals and get back in the game in just minutes. When a basketball team goes down 12-14+ they start heaving up 3s and 90% of the team end up losing by 20-30 points. Makes for terrible viewing.

Discovered hockey while living in Tampa. I was hooked after one game. The atmosphere in person is awesome. Go Bolts!

The sumo thing doesn't work because the nets are six feet wide. A fatass can't pull off the lateral movement required to stop cross-slot passes, or one timers from the point. Another massive aspect to goaltending is rebound control. A fatass can stop the first shot, perhaps, but it takes athleticism to be able to kick or punch the puck to a safe spot. Garbage goals would destroy a lardass.

My interest in sports has definitely has dwindled with age. I used to be a sports junkie. I pretty much just watch LSU football and the occasional Saints game now. And NIL and the transfer portal is killing my love for college football too. The woke shite killed most of my interest in the NFL.

Having lived in South LA my whole life, my only connection to hockey is the glory days of the Icegators. But I'll still watch every game I come across. It's by far the best TV spectator sport.
