Also, it's embarrassing how poor American drivers are compared to our Euro counterparts. Roundabouts are so much more efficient, but we just can't seem to grasp them in most areas.

Also, a campaigning politician really needs to promise to make driving tests much, much harder. Insurance rates would start to go down, accidents would decrease, etc. And the people it impacts the most are too young to vote

Won't ever happen. Insurance companies, body shops, and ambulance chasers make too much money.

The one by me...I routinely see both sides of the spectrum. People either unnecessarily come to a complete stop or just completely blow the yield and almost hit somebody.

Saw this on local news.

Here's a pro tip. Before letting people use it, paint directional arrows on the road.

It’s amazing to me how much people don’t understand how to use one after using it at least one time.

We have several here in the city between the Cherokee Park area and by University of Louisville. Folks here handle it ok.

And in a state where they all grew up watching horses run around a track.

Youngsville needs to hold a free bi-weekly educational seminar on how to properly maneuver through a roundabout for their residents.

I'm not going to lie. I have problems with roundabouts every time I am driving in a foreign country.

Also it would immediately be declared racist.

Came up on the new roundabout at the end of hwy 447 this morning and the car in front of me not only came to a complete stop at the yield, when the circle was empty, but then decided to turn left instead of following the circle and commenced to creating a huge cluster blocking up oncoming traffic to the circle.

We have new one in Alex. Aside from the occasional person not understanding how to merge in it has been great.

We must be an advanced culture

There is a double lane roundabout in ridgeland that it seemed like every day was a wreck. They finally painted arrows in the lanes of the roundabout

This looks almost stages as people are literally approaching the roundabout driving in the wrong lane of traffic to begin with (before even reaching the roundabout they have crossed the center line into oncoming traffic. My thought is the project is not open to the public yet and this was staged.

Americans hate roundabouts because the government isn't there to tell them what to do at an intersection.

If an alien species observed a human stopping and waiting at an empty red light at 1AM, they would report back that there was no sign of intelligent life on the planet.
