New Orleans is a lifeless dump

Its always been a shite hole, but at least it wasn’t dead like it is now.
The city leadership is as incompetent and corrupt as it’s ever been… and that’s actually impressive considering the history of New Orleans politics. The crime keeps getting worse, nothing ever gets fixed, the roads are as bad as they’ve ever been and are full of trash. Again, none of these issues are new but they keep raising the bar on how far they can run the city into the ground.
I’m embarrassed to be from there. The next natural disaster they need to cut off all federal aid and just let the city sink into the Gulf of Mexico

Frankly, I don't understand it. So many popular, prosperous cites around the world are run by black people. New Orleans should make an effort to consult with these leaders.

A ton of road work is being done all over the city. I don't see trash all over the streets. Where do you drive. through the 9th ward?

Are there wealthy black people in New Orleans? I'm genuinely curious. I know Baton Rouge had a neighborhood of well off black people, curious if that exists anywhere in New Orleans.
