Yes, all of this shite, is because the CDC is compiled of the least educated amongst us.

LINK

quote:

When revising its mask guidance this week to urge even vaccinated people to wear masks indoors in much of the country, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention was criticized for not citing data in making that move. Now it has — and the data is sobering. The study details a COVID-19 outbreak that started July 3 in Provincetown, Mass., involving 469 cases. It found that three-quarters of cases occurred in fully vaccinated people. Massachusetts has a high rate of vaccination: about 69% among eligible adults in the state at the time of the study.

How is that stupid, you may ask, well….

LINK

quote:

f the CDC has increased their Delta Ro because of the Ptown cohort, then they are overstating it for the general population. The cohort was 85% male (WaPo and NYT have both failed to mention this). Hello, it was Bear Week. @apoorva_nyc rightly mentions packed bars, etc., but /1

quote:

everyone is missing the horny bear in the room. Bears go to Ptown to have lots of fun which includes lots of sex. News flash, gay men KISS when they have sex. /2

And in case you doubt this Twitter guy.

LINK

quote:

Dates for Bear Week Provincetown 2021 are July 10th, 2021 to July 18th, 2021

And if you want to confirm the cdc study dates

LINK

quote:

In July 2021, following multiple large public events in a Barnstable County, Massachusetts, town, 469 COVID-19 cases were identified among Massachusetts residents who had traveled to the town during July 3–17; 346 (74%) occurred in fully vaccinated persons.

Feel stupid yet?

And the study leaves off one of the most important details - how many people were there.

800 cases after a full week of 250,000 dudes grinding on each other kinda proves the vaccines work. Someone else was pointing out that it's statistically likely that many are HIV+ and immune compromised in that group as well.

And it also tells you why there is a “surge”. Because of this study, more people got tested. Positives = a case.

And then we couple this with the fact the cdc has been hiding positives since may for political reasons…

LINK

quote:

According to data Bloomberg collected from 35 states, 111,748 vaccine breakthrough cases have been identified in the US through the end of July. This is 10 TIMES the CDC’s count when they stopped tracking breakthrough cases in May.

And if you doubt the gatewaypundit link.

LINK

Which proves, covid never stopped, people just stopped getting tested. And the majority of people are asymptomatic.

So do you think this is a representative sample for the CDC to issue new guidelines and for state and local leaders to issue new COVID dictates? Of course not.

This is the point.

regardless of the sampling issue, it's becoming quite obvious that the full vaccination is not as effective against delta as they previously told everyone

Nope, the CDC should maybe put out the case study, no reason to change precautions because of it.

It's not even a representative sample of a large party atmosphere (e.g. Vegas or Bourbon St.).

Or it’s saying that sampling a bunch of promiscuous gay dudes for a communicable disease is retarded during bear week. About as retarded as using an India study for providing stats on vaccines used in the US.

Right. Bear week dudes are swapping fluids and Bourbon it’s just a regular party atmosphere. One is a lot more contagious than the other. Both are more contagious than shopping or eating at a restaurant.

But the CDC is issuing guidelines based on the contagiousness of swapping fluids during bear week.

They have manipulated data the whole fricking time. At first we see these exorbitantly large death totals only to find out later that they were people 80+ years old in hospice care. Anything to drive the fear and herd the sheeple.

Not bad considering it’s a massive Mardi-Gras scale event that involves a lot of “close contact”. Far more than what normal people experience in a typical day.

Both of these are referenced to the CDC document that was "leaked" to the Washington Post. However, both headlines are misleading.

TRIGGER WARNING: Washington Post/CDC Document

Long story short, if you get symptomatic covid 19 while vaccinated you can (in theory - not confirmed) spread it just like if you were unvaccinated. However, vaccination still effective against the initial infection.

There's no real reason for the CDC to panic about breakthrough infections, and are probably doing their usual shooting themselves in the foot with messaging.
