I wear steel toes and walk 4-6 miles a day on the yard. I'm wearing Justin's now, but I wore some Georgia's a couple weeks ago and they were really comfortable and much lighter that the Justin's I'm wearing now.

Ariat also makes boots with composite toe. I wear mine every day to work. Ariat boots are worth the money. Mine cost $200 and are waterproof, EH rated, and slip resistant.

Best combination of steel toe and tennis shoe I've found. And the solid black looks good with jeans, khakis, or shorts. From Skechers.

Merrells are okay, I believe they are the work shoe branch of New Balance. American made too.

ETA; they not, owned by Wolverine Brands

These are very comfortable, Twisted X Driving Moc, try them on to get the right size and wear good socks with them.

I have to wear steel toes for plant visits pretty often, I find myself wearing these even when I don't have to wear them...

I'm wearing my Twisted X boots as I am typing this. They are crazy comfortable. Awesome boots.

Absolutely nothing replaces going into a store and putting trying on the boots yourself. I went to Tom Waters on Joor Rd with an idea of what I thought I wanted. Veered in a different direction after trying on several different styles and brands. Left with a pair of Georgias that felt like they were meant for my feet and weren't too heavy.

Yep, that’s all I buy. Really well made, will last, and comfortable. Last 2 pairs I bought lasted 2 and a half and 3 years and didn’t even have to buy another pair that soon.

I’m a fan of Ariat but to each it’s own.

Ariat Workhog. There is nothing better you can put on your feet if you’re gonna be on your feet all day.

Can you get away with composite toes? If so, those will be way more comfortable than any steel toe you will find.
