Switching from CVS Highmand & Lee. They're understaffed and pharmacy access inside shut down ... only drive thru. I don't have time to wait 45 mins in drive thru. What says the OT about pharmacies south LSU area? Walgreens? Albertsons? Prescrips to Geaux? Where is good service and stays the frick open?

You'll wait behind a bunch of kids picking up their Z pack for gonorrhea

Wait really?? They shut down the indoor pharmacy? Looks like I’m making a switch too. I do not drive thru pharmacy.

Bolton’s is good.

Look for a local business owner, mom and pop type.

But very expensive. There was a time that I didn’t have insurance and tried to get a script filled there because I was fed up with Walgreens. The following prices weee what I was quoted:

Walgreens: $72
Wal Mart: $45
Boltons: $145

I completely understand wanting to use a local pharmacy, but not at 2x or 3x the price. It was pretty eye-opening to see the price difference:

I haven’t noticed a difference but so far all of my prescriptions are free with insurance anyway.

This thread begins and ends with Prescriptions to Geaux.

Honestly… no kidding… the best service I’ve ever received from a pharmacy. They are on the freaking ball over there.

Prescriptions to Geaux and it’s not even close. Those guys will bend over backwards to make sure everything is right and good. Good people.
