What type of mattress is everyone buying and enjoying these days?

I tried Tuft and Needle. I like a really firm mattress but that shite had me walking like a hunchback. Hurt my back and shoulders.. wouldn't recommend.

Have you tried taking one of those "sleep quizzes"? Supposedly Helix is pretty good.

ETA: Pro-Tip.. even if you don't like it, they'll tell you to donate it rather than return it (it comes in a box). According to Tuft and Needle, Goodwill is not keen on taking stuff like that since COVID and told me to donate it to a friend in need.

Had a lady at work sign a piece of paper saying I gave it to her.. it is now in my guest bedroom.. got a full refund

Have not slept on it myself, but we bought a Ghost bed for our son as a dorm mattress to replace the shitty one that came on the bed. It was actually surprisingly comfortable when I laid down on it to check it out. Have no clue about any kind of long term comfort level though.

This whole industry is a mess to wade through with Helix, Purple, Tuft & Needle, Casper and the good old boys like Sleep Number, Sealy, and Serta.

You ain't lyin. I am still sleeping on a lumpy Sealy that is probably 5-6 years old and I sleep pretty well.

Went to Ashley Furniture a while back and got roped into trying out one of the adjustable Tempurpedic ones. The "sleep expert" (a 20ish year old baw in a white coat) had me crunched up like an astronaut and claimed it was the best way to sleep.

He may have been correct but I doubt I could ever sleep like that

We got the Oki Oki mattress. It's basically the same as the Nectar and Purple mattresses but not as pricey. We're loving it.

Wife and I have a Sleep Number bed - moreso for the reason that we don't have similar tastes in mattress firmness. Have had for about 5 years with no complaints.

We just converted my son from crib to full-size bed and picked up an Allswell mattress-in-a-box from Wal-Mart. For the price point (I think was $250 or so), I'm pleasantly surprised at how comfortable it is.

If you like the feel of memory foam mattresses just pop for a Tempur-Pedic if you have the cash. We have had them for over a decade. Went cheap at the camp with some imitations and you could feel them starting to break down very quickly. Not that noticeable if at all unless you were going straight from the Tempur-Pedic to them from one night to the next. At first, they were very similar within 2 years there was a marked difference.

So now I know to not try a Nectar either. Those Purple mattresses feel really weird. Not what I want to sleep on.

Allswell is great bang for the buck. Based on watching a ton of reviews, that's what I ended up getting a few months ago.

Made in USA was a big selling point for me.

Are you in baton rouge? I remember someone recommending that guy who, I think makes mattresses for wholesale, but will also do custom mattresses or something. Im sure someone else on here knows who I am referring to.
