I remember one journalist that was trying to take a pretty big swing at BRPD. She was sent to the unemployment line.
And she became the undisputed best independent reporter in the city.

Something like the Allie Rice murder, gangs in BR or judges not sentencing BR repeat felons - Nakamoto silence of the lambs.
Pretty sure the very top of wbrz would have put the kabosh on that anyway. Wbrz and the advocate are woke af. They weren’t going to let the real reason br has turned to shite be put out there.

This sure reads more like his contract isn't being renewed vs I got a better job.

SWB said it’s cool as long as WBRZ replaces him with another reporter that also won’t report on anything she does.

Kiran may need to go work at WBRZ with all the big advertisers who have left her site. I used to see Garcia Roofing and Relief Windows on there, don’t see them anymore.

You know, the OT gave the dude most of his fame to all of us. Thread after thread. And now y'all hate on the poor guy
Go spread your wings out of state, Nak. I gotcha.

His reputation amongst his peers is not great.
Unethical, reporting never provided full context of the investigations and more often than not knowingly misleading.

He loves reporting half truths. They aren’t outright lies but he puts typical media spin on it to make himself look like some hero.

Nak is a piece of shite. Good riddance.

I was a fan until he character assassinated a local lawyer here in town without one shred of evidence. The whole story was debunked, the man cleared of charges, and not a peep from Nak. I wish slander was easier in the courts to get sued over.

I walked out of my job one day on my way to care for my dad after a surgery. I knew I would never step back in that building again as an employee. I haven't looked back. No parties or tearfully goodbyes. AMF

Chris did an excellent job with the resources he had available and is very well respected by the journalism community. His mother had been in poor health for quite a while and recently passed away, I'm sure that had a lot to do with his decision. From a fellow Loyola grad, I wish him well in all of his future endeavors, I'm sure he will be successful.

Well, so much for the one journalist who wasn’t a total shill and not afraid of the powers that be in Baton Rouge.
