This might surprise you but I am.

I have a Colt M4. It is very similar to what I had overseas (burst version- Let me remind you that most service members do not use use burst or full auto 99% of the time on their weapon. Combat load is only 210 rounds and full auto would cause major depletion of ammo fast. There are better suppressive fire weapons for area targets than ARs.)

I also have a:

Benelli M4
Benelli Tactical SuperNova
Benelli SB3
Browning x-bolt LR 6.5 Creedmoor
Weatherby Vanguard 30-0.6
1911 Sig
Sig 226 Legeion
Sig P365XL
Etc

I love my guns but I also don’t want them taken away. I’m a millennial not willing to fight the government while knowing I have kids to raise. There needs to be concessions made regarding the ease to ARs- because it’s factual these weapons are similar to weapons of war.

No, its your normal position all gun control advocates pretend to take.

Every single time. It never fails.

Well , “come take them from my cold hands” isn’t working for me. I have a family.

Government could send a robot dog with a SAW on its back and take you out in an instant if it wanted to no matter how strong your arsenal is. You can play the game smart or be dead. Your choice.

Why do you have scary guns around family?

Not even a description of the shooter? I realize it's early, but they have to know something.

They’re in something called a safe.

Once hillbillies like you can afford them then accidental discharges by loved one will cease to exist.

I'd think you'd want your family to live in a country where the government is kept in check and doesn't feel arrogant enough to "send a robot dog with a SAW on its back and take you out in an instant" for refusing to give up your natural rights.

I do want that.

But the deterioration of our rights is already happening and I’m not interested in being a martyr for what America used to fight for.

The trend of mass shootings is only making change more inevitable.

It doesn't surprise me that you own firearms and talk about being "pro gun rights."

The point is that you demonstrate the opposite. You're willing to give up those rights because you've bought into bullshite catchphrases like "common sense gun safety" and "responsible gun ownership."

Let me remind you

You're barking up the wrong tree with this talking point, bud.

99% of the time SM’s wouldn’t need burst fire or full auto during their careers which is the only substantial feature I’m missing as a citizen at the house.

Yes, that m4 is a weapon of war. If they’re not then in reality the weapon on the SM’s person isn’t a weapon of war. A team leader or squad leader would chew out any SM that wasted ammo via burst fire.

Getting your dick hard over burst fire and Full Auto is very PX Rangerish and didn’t realize there were so many fobbits here.

You’re probably not even a good shot.

It's a semi-automatic rifle that have existed longer than any of us have been around. How is it different than a Ruger 10/22?
