Astronomers were left baffled when a mysterious blue swirling shape briefly appeared in the night sky over Hawaii last week.
The unusual shape was spotted by the National Astronomical Observatory of Japan's Subaru Telescope on 18 January above Mauna Kea, Hawaii.
Sharing their discovery to their official YouTube channel, the team wrote: "At first it was just a small dot at the left centre of the view.
"Then it ejected an arc-like feature. It became slightly larger...
"A bright dot appeared in the blob then it grew into a spiral."

The Japanese space agency noted that the strange appearance in the sky seemed to be connected to SpaceX's latest satellite launch. SpaceX successfully launched their Falcon 9 rocket from Cape Canaveral, Florida on January 18.
After a rocket shoots up into space and deploys the satellite, it will return back to earth - but not before it ejects any remaining rocket fuel.
And that would explain the swirly blue spiral.
When the rocket fuel is ejected, it freezes and crystallises in the shape of a spiral, and is then illuminated by the sun.

I'm not saying it's aliens, but it's aliens.

Is it really mysterious if it was immediately identified?

The knowledge we have of the solar system is so small compared to what’s probably left to learn about it. Chances are that’s not unprecedented and has happened before.

Elohim. Wheel inside a wheel inside a wheel. God will not be mocked Earthlings..

Just another Alien spaceship doing a burnout around a star.

It’s very mysterious and powerful, and its mystery is exceeded only by its power.

This was in Norway 2009, tied to a Russian ballistic missile test.

Some poor kids are being sacrificed in a South American jungle to appease the gods over that.

Swamp gas trapped in a weather balloon reflecting the light from Venus.

What human beings call supernatural is is just a phenomenon of physics that we don’t understand yet. We have barely scratched the surface of our understanding of the universe.

Probably a scram jet trial.

So the guy who has to ask the OT if his faucet is frozen is going to try to explain the solar system to us?

I think eventually they'll find "god" which is actually scattered across the universe and makes up all things.
Deism is probably more correct, though I do believe it too has flaws..

Oh, that's not mysterious. That's the Damar nebula in the Hamlin galaxy.

A new first for Elon...space fireworks.
Now make them bigger and more colors.
