Right now they seem to be in the "alleged", "reporting", gang affiliation, I been railroaded, they don't do that anymore, not here but up country stages of deciding who is to be charged and who isn't or wasn't in on the money.

Some names, at least, to add to the Dramatis personae of this low country tragedy (and it was, for his wife at the very least.)

Life imitates art.... About as close to real life Ozark as you can get.

This reminds me of the line from the movie Rush Hour: "Follow the rich white man... every big crime has a rich white man behind it waiting for his cut."

I wasn’t very impressed with the Murtaugh stranglehold on power in their county. Looked like to me that the local law dogs never even hesitated at all to stick it up the Murtaws’ kazoos. I was expecting that they skate on everything, never even indicted. That’s proper in your face home cooking. Of course that scenario wouldn’t have helped Murbaw Jr nohow, considering his dad blowed hes head off. Well that’s a touch of exaggeration, but he was snuffed out either way. By his paw.

I've been following this for a while, definitely a lot more to all of the stories---so many twists and turns!

In other Murdaugh trial news, Prosecution has turned over to the Defense evidence, etc. they will use in the upcoming trial and it's now the Defense's turn to share their evidence with the Prosecution.

Feels like digging in to the Murdaugh stories is going to take a real commitment. Gonna wait for the documentaries to pile up and then binge on it.

The 3 part doc on HBO has dropped.

Over the years I have tried 10 or so cases in the 14th against PMPED a PI firm where the M stands for Murdaugh and I have never seen an area where a firm had near the sway they had there at least not well into the 21st century.

Yes, the Mexican cartels, African warlords and Colombian narco terrorists clearly all are really fronts for a “rich white guy”. Chris Tucker comedies are an excellent way to shape one’s worldview

When your firm is the reason the SC General Assembly completely overhauls the venue statute, you know they're a powerful bunch.
