Preferably looking for a condo or a town home, but not against renting a house. Any suggestions on what part of town?

Uptown hands-down. Awesome place to live for people in their 20s. Walk to all sorts of restaurants and bars and in the middle of everything.

Pretty nice area, lots to do, less congested. Would be my pick if I moved to Dallas.

I live in uptown right off McKinney avenue. Highly recommend the area. Nice places to rent, good bars and a good ratio of fine womenz

ETA: we are the same age so I think you will enjoy it

Move it with Pilot and that guy that sports that type of beard that goes from ear to ear but not on his face and he is possibly a little light in the loafers, their parents...... Rent their spare bedroom

If you are over 30 maybe. Living out there in your 20s and single would be torture.

You can also look around Knox-Henderson. Short cab ride to uptown and not as pricey to live. If you're uptown you'll probably end up settling for an apartment. Those are what you'll find right there on top of everything in the heart of uptown/west village

Depending on where you work, Addison can also be an option.

Knowing what you'd like to spend on rent helps also

I got lucky and found a 2BR townhome that is cheap (comparatively speaking) right by Cole park. We actually found it on zillow.com and it's a private owner instead of a complex. I found some cheap units through Post properties and I enjoyed living at Post Coles Corner. Go to their website and put in uptown and they'll show all the units available

Addison isn't a terrible spot either. It's where I live. There are some pretty cool bars and places to eat around Addison Circle. With that being said, my next move will be to Uptown.
