Gotcha. I wouldn't be surprised at that. CPS is usually so overloaded with cases that it would be VERY easy for stuff like that to get overlooked.

And don't be stupid and think no one else's parents passed when they were young, maybe things were different back in the day but SS check don't work like that anymore.

I was 20 but if your saving money its a smart move ....

imo what ever you do get a place by yourself for a few years...don't move in with a women there is plenty of time for that....

I had it set up to GTFO of my parents house about 4 months after I moved back home from college, but the 2011 flood screwed me so I had to wait a little longer. You gotta get out as soon as financially possible IMO. I was set up to do so at 23, but I was 24 when I finally moved out.

I never wanted to either. It just worked out that way.

I worked a couple of minor league baseball jobs out of state the last two years that barely paid enough to keep my bills paid. Certainly not enough to get my own place. I lived in the clubhouse half of the time and lived with my sister the other half.

After the seasons were over I moved back home and lived off the money I was able to save before the next season started.
