During the drive up once we got above the tree line I told my wife not to speak or ask me to look over the side, I'm terrified of heights and was scared shitless so I just wanted to focus straight ahead and on the road until we got to the top.

There is no guardrail.

Sack up. It isn’t that bad

You forgot to mention that the road up is an old carriage road. It's wide enough for 1.5 cars without guardrails in some spots, and in others your side mirror might kiss the mirror of another car travelling in the opposite direction.

A Schlitz truck wrecked in my neighborhood when I was in high school. Free beer, and lots of it, for those who got there quickly. Unfortunately the worst beer known to humanity. My brother and I filled a pick-up bed with a couple kegs and hundreds of cans and bottles. Unfortunately, some were non alcoholic headed to India... that disgusting vomit inducing tripe had formaldehyde in it for the refridgeration impaired. Worst beer ever, especially for us newbies - ended up trading some of it 2 for 1 for Budweiser to a direputable tavern popular with the shuffleboard crowd. Fun times with shitty beer circa 1980.

Mt. Washington is awesome. We hiked it in Boyscouts. You have to be prepared, weather can dip 60 degrees in minutes, even during the summer.

The weather changes every day.

Climate changes occur over several years, and can have various causes from changes in the sun, planetary changes in the axis, shifting winds, changes in the composition of the air, etc.

Both are always changing.

"Climate change" is the biggest hoax brought up on mankind.

Dude. The place has had a chaotic history dating back to when weather conditions were recorded. It has ALWAYS done shite like this.

Spent summers on Mt Moosilauke. Love the Whites, but also loved skiing into cabins in the less mountainous far north of New Hampshire on the Land Grant during the winter. I actually climbed Mt Moosilauke once mid-winter in the middle of the night with a group. Ahh, the invincibility of the college student.
