re: More than 99% of covid deaths are unvaccinated people
Let me guess...you work for some government entity or you work for a massive conglomerate and have had shite shoved down your throat for months as to how to think?

Depends if the shot causes them to have a heart attack now instead of in 10yrs. Just a gamble i guess

Statistics are easily manipulated.

Given the number of cases which occurred pre vaccine, mine is correct.

Given the current cases are of weaker variants, his could also be correct if he were to institute a set of boundaries for his data set.

He didn't. Because he's a sister fricking government teet sucking dolt.

I am much more worried about our threat to future by the rash of lacking critical thinking. The political puppets parroting their flavor of politics for or against. This board is chock full of them. Is there a vax to protect critical thinkers from these folks?

But it's a rather small number of deaths compared to any point in the pandemic thus far, and it's STILL old people and often old people with comorbidities.

It is absolutely false for the media to frame this as chaos for the young and healthy.

Not only that, but how do we know that the information being put forward about unvaxed deaths are facts and not more fear-mongering?

If the amount of misinformation over the past year that has been proven to be BS doesn't make you question things then no one can help you.

There are more Covid cases at BR hospitals recently than there have been.

Buuuuutttttt.... All but one that I know of had little to know symptoms. There was a mid 30s guy fatality without comorbidities. Which was sad.

But the facts are that some people shrug it off. Some don't. Some get it from a passing glance. Some don't.

Either way... 99% chance of survival.

I'm rolling the dice if the odds are 100:1. Sorry.

Politics has become a religious substitute for many, and people will defend their tribe no matter what.

It’s one of the most troubling developments of my lifetime.

There’s a Reuters story out of England that 60% of their hospitalizations are from people who have had two shots.

Probably not for someone of your age and weight.

Your chance of survival is many times greater with the vaccine for sure.

I don’t think those are accurate odds (for the vaccinated), but I support your right to roll the dice if you so choose.

Do you mean the news articles from the NY Post and other outlets? That's misinformation? You idiots are setting the bar lower each day.

If we start seeing closures because non-vaccinated high risk folks start dropping again I'm gonna be pissed.

This is the problem. Shouldn't close a damn thing to protect a fool from himself. It doesn't take a doctor to figure out if you should get the vaccine or not. Therefore, if you choose not to get the vaccine, you enter at your own risk. There are plenty of us who are in perfectly okay physical shape/health to where that risk is negligible. I am very willing to accept my risk to keep everything normal and open.

So why is it “selfish” to not get vaccinated ?

If you are scared get vaccinated and you don’t have to worry about the unvaccinated right?

Pretty dumb when vaccine significant side effects are 1 in 100000

Your risk benefit analysis sucks

You know only the carefully selected details which I have put here on purpose.

I've been around covid positive individuals since last march, have not changed my lifestyle at all, and quarantined with a covid positive wife and never got so much as a sniffle.

It is what it is.
