Detectives with Louisiana State Police are asking for the public’s help identifying a woman accused in a theft investigation.

Investigators believe the woman is connected with an alleged catalytic converter theft that happened on June 15, 2022 at a local casino.

According to the authorities, the woman was driving a blue compact car. If you have any information regarding the investigation, contact Crime Stoppers at 344-STOP (344-7867).
.

why even bother?

great description WAFB? What race is she? Is she fat? Thin? old? middle aged? Whats the fricking point if you won't even attempt to offer some type of description?

Looks like the casino parking garage downtown has experienced a cultural upgrade.

Because they have video and photographs?

Is a text description going to markedly improve things?

I'm not particularly fond of WAFB, but this seems silly

Did you look at the pictures and video?

They’re helpful.

At least they told us the color and size of the car.

yes, I think it would. Thats why I started this thread.

That and its more evidence of the local media's efforts to deflect from the race of criminal suspects.

Despite the fact there are both video and pictures available in the link you provided, they should type it out for the IQ impaired.

My grandma drove a blue compact car in the '80's.

I know she's dead but can never be to sure. I'll do my part and report her.

They do have pictures and what not but it's so blurry that you can't even make out anything really.

You’re tilting at windmills. Everything they know about this woman is from those photographs. You don’t actually think a physical description would help. This was simply a platform for your political soapbox.

Yeah, I’m broken. Not the culture warrior without a clue who’s complaining that a news article “only” included photographs but not a written description of the photographs. Enjoy your windmills

ETA: I just watched the news segment again on a large monitor and I can't even figure out what her race is. Parts of her in shadow look black. Parts of her well lit look white. Would you have been happier had they described her as potentially but not definitively half black/half white?

Even more odd is that they would have a license plate number of that blue car also and should know the identity of the owner at least. Assuming not stolen.

Are the surveillance cameras really that bad? Or did they pixelate the face of the suspect?
