I use a guy that charges $200 on the initial cleaning and then $100 about once a month. He does this from what I understand probably 7 days a week, he spends about 5 hours on a car.
The friend that recommended him works in high end cars and he came highly recommended

I agree if it’s just a wash, tire shine, and wipe down the interior…but its worth it if it includes buff, claying, and wax. IMO

That depends on how dirty the interior is. Some cars haven't been cleaned in years. One person power washed the inside of his truck which rusted some parts of the interior. That ended up costing him more money with the detailer. Some cars are so bad that mold develops in the carpets. Trucks will cost more to clean unless unless a car is one of the more expensive makes.

It is easier to do business with rich folks when it comes to car detailing as they understand the business side more than Bubba cheap. Who wants his 92 model Ford F-150 cleaned, polished and shine but will only do it for $50.

My neighbor has a new-ish F-350 that he uses for a work truck.

Not to haul anything but for him to be able to visit remote job sites.

He works around 12 hours per day M-F and then past Noon on Saturdays.

When he gets home on Saturdays, rain or shine, his detailer pulls up in a box truck right behind him. The detailer has a helper, they do the inside and outside of the truck, taking around 3-4 hours.

Every Saturday.

In the Wintertime, the sun is done before they are.

When they finish, the truck looks like it could be in a Ford showroom.
