When my tax dollars (and speeding tickets) stop paying their salary they can stop listening to what I have to say. As soon as people realize that everyone from the local dog catcher to POTUS works for the tax paying citizens, and those citizens hold those bureaucrats and elected officials responsible, nothing will change.

yeah good luck with that.

MN Resisting Arrest Statute

Looks like at the absolute worst he put himself into position to go to prison for 5 years, don't see the death penalty as an option as a penalty.

Cops are not James Bond, they do not have a license to kill.

This is the ultimate key, in a large manner, to many of the ills that we currently see within government today... term limits for ALL elected officials and campaign finance reform need to have happened, like, yesterday, but alas, here we are

Im not excusing the cops actions. regardless of the cops actions, why would you put yourself in a position to go to jail for 5 years? Taking it further, why would you, knowing what we know based on all of these cases, put yourself in a position to be killed by a cop that is having a bad day, or is racist.. or is whatever. Once the cop decides he is gonna arrest you, that is it. Acting the arse isn't going to change anything.

There are many things that shouldn't happen but do. In this case, the deceased could have acted differently from the start and this likely wouldnt have happened. That doesnt absolve the cop of his terrible judgement, and he will pay for hi crime. Myself, as a rational human being just cant see the upside of resisting arrest. Of all people, a black man should be more re-cognizant of that then anyone.

Is it possible, that maybe some cops are assholes to everyone regardless of race? Maybe the cop isn't a racist the guy just happened to be black.

You think that. I can show you plenty of neighborhoods where it started as one race majority, then it was integrated, then it went to complete shite. These neighborhoods aren't the melting pot you think they are. They're in transition. Slowly on the downside trajectory.
