Does anyone know if he had a terminal illness before he went to hospice?

He was 90 years old. RIP, Gov. Foster

Didn’t he take night classes at Southern and earned a law degree?

Yep, an old friend of mine was seated next to him when they graduated law school.

Completed US 90 across St. Mary and Terrebonne Parish.

Kept college tuition low and help form the TOPS program.

The list is endless.

One mixed bag, he introduced us to Jindal.

Sad day. I liked him.

Damned sight better than EWE.

Wasn't he pretty wealthy?

I ran into him at an FBO years ago while he was he was learning to fly a helicopter and I was a student pilot. We shot the shite over coffee.

I was young when he was governor, but looking back he was probably the best one in my lifetime.

Outstanding first term, but his second term was meh.
Still one of the most likable and best governors of
My lifetime, but I can’t lie and say I didn’t have mixed emotions on his tenure.

RIP Mike. By Louisiana standards, you were a saint.

Pretty nice guy, only met him once but also had a couple of mutual friends who always spoke highly of him.

Condolences to his family & friends.

Worse than Jindal and JBE’s? I don’t think so.
