This is turning into a purposely forested insanity.

All drugs should be legal. Criminalizing them does more harm than good.

I tend to agree, but let's not pretend that Mr. Bawquez smuggling around this kind of weight is just some regular dude trying to make money on the side.

Why would they put them in jail? They're smuggle drugs for the Feds?

I wonder if it's going to be harder or easier for the cartel to off them now for losing 1.2 million in meth.

I have no opinion on him as a person, he’s probably a POS. But that doesn’t change the fact that the war on drugs has been a colossal disaster. People act like if drugs were decriminalized that all of us would just start doing meth and heroin. When that’s obviously not true.

Do you think less abortions will lead to more or less drug use overall?

The woke army of activist prosecutors, their goal is not the rule of law or even safety.
Jason Williams of Orleans Parish and Chesa Boudin are both smiling ear to ear.

It also doesn't change the fact that as long as the laws are on the books, egregious examples of them should still be treated with acceptable reasonable precedent and not summarily marginalized because of a judge's personal stance on said laws.

OK. How do you do the former without the latter?
