Is she prepared to provide said mask?

That's a fair question, isn't that the same logic certain folks use when it comes to voter ID.

Why don’t you make a stand on your principles instead of faking an excuse, baw?

Ok

I do think my congenital heart defect, that I sometimes have to supplement oxygen for(salmon and others can backup I have talked about this before), would likely count

But no, I have specifically asked my doctor about it

ive gotta go somewhere in an hour. I dont even own a mask. Guess we'll see how it goes.

I haven't needed one a single time yet (no appointments or haircuts or any of that stuff) either. I do have some that were given to me, but hadn't been keeping them in my purse.

Guess I'll have to be sure to stick one in there.

but it's not really a smart political play by Broome to announce this now if she knew JBE was going to mandate it from above today or this week.

because it isn't going to be a statewide mandate

but all the "major" cities will probably issue a mandate soon

What do all of these public health officials and governors think is going to happen?

Do they think a vaccine is going to just magically cure things? It isn’t. This virus and it’s evolved offshoots will be around forever. Science has a terrible track record when it comes to cures for infectious diseases.

So in August 2021 we are going to be in the same boat as we are right now. At risk people still at risk. 300 million others, not so much

I guess we have to see death rates not exploding over the next 2-3 weeks for them to admit this isn’t a death sentence and that we need to go about building herd immunity?

So she said inside of all buildings, but didn't close bars and restaurants.

How is that going to work?

We've been under the mask order for weeks now, it hasn't been a big deal. Walk up to the bar/restaurant with mask on - wait to be seated and take the mask off to eat & drink.

Wear mask in grocery store/hardware store and take it off when you leave to walk to the car. Wear a mask in barber shop - take it off when you get to the barbers chair.

I don't live around BR but I haven't been wearing a mask. I do think people that are nasty should wear one while people who know basic good hygiene shouldn't have to. I will say if my city makes it mandatory of course I will. I won't be happy but I pretty much only go to fishing stores to get crickets, and once a week to a supermarket. Maybe once or twice a month in Lowes. I don't think gov't should have the right to shut down church and force people to wear a mask. But I know too many cops that are good friends of mine, I don't wanna put them in an awkward situation if someone calls the police on me.

I don’t care. I have a Costa Face Shield that I wear around my neck. I’ll pull it up over my face if I’m asked to. If. It it either stays in my truck or around my neck. So fricking what

I know exactly how it will work out. I won't wear a mask and absolutely nothing will happen except for a bunch of snowflakes melting over it.

You wear it until you are seated at your table then take it off. You put it back on to go to the bathroom or leave.

I understand how it will work for restaurants. I was more talking about bars. Hanging in the bar with your mask on, pull it down to take a sip, then pull it back up. Sounds so stupid.

I should of said as well the the "mask" i wear is a necko. one of those things people wear when fishing or outside and want to be shielded from the sun. As far as a mask goes its a pretty terrible mask. The only reason i wear it is appease the plant that im going into.

Yea when it affects my income i will put one on. Even with this order in BR im not wearing a mask in WBR.

The camera on my iphone is broken and i went to the AT&T store a few weeks ago to get a new phone. They come open the locked door and say i need a mask to come in. I turned around and walked back to my truck. Still have the iphone with a broken camera.
