I had a woman tell me I'm not acting like there's a virus out here. Mind you, I was wearing my mask when we were talking. Some people are scared and get mad when you don't join in their bullshite with them.

Wearing a mask is offensive to natural social distancer such as myself
My AC went down yesterday and the tech asked me if he had to wear a mask while he was working in my 200 degree attic. We had a good laugh.

Under this order would I have to wear a mask if I went for a run in the neighborhood or took the dog on a walk?

No. Only indoors.

That's because the protestors don't spread the virus. Johns Hopkins told us so.

Do they not have dense populations in those places?

But they closed the beaches here in south Florida for the 4th

City of Zachary, Baker and Central are sovereign. Does not apply inside those city limits. Just FYI because I didn't see that distinguished anywhere.

I know I'm going up against a brick wall on this since so many people have already made up their minds on this, but, sigh, here goes:
It hasn't been ignored. Yes, we flattened it, but part of the deal from the beginning was that once it was flattened and businesses started opening back up, we still needed to be somewhat responsible. it was never sold as a wholesale re-opening once the curve was flattened. Crowding in the streets for protests is not responsible. Crowding in bars for drinks is not responsible. We've done both of those things plus a whole lot more.
Social distancing, hand washing, wearing masks, contact tracing, and easy testing are all used in combination to slow the spread and reduce the R0 below 1. There isn't one solution to the problem.
You get no argument from me about how they bungled the message early on and how it only leads to more confusion now. I don't really follow what that short frick says. Instead I do my own research.
We are in danger of running out of hospital capacity if we get another big spike. You know what can help prevent another spike? Wearing masks.
Hyperbole much? No one can give an answer on this. It's somewhere more than a month or two and somewhere less than the rest of your life. Some places will be able to relax the rules sooner.
Depends. Is it a pandemic flu or is it normal flu? Normal flu would not require mask mandates.
you want an apology?
I don't know what my red line would be. I'd know it if I saw it. I do know that wearing a mask to help slow the spread of a novel virus is not over my red line. An example over my red line might be "you have to wear only government distributed masks."
You lost me on this one. It's hard to answer such an incoherent thought. The point of a mask is to lessen the chances an infected person's aerosols reach your body. This isn't rocket science. It's like a screened door. It keeps most of the bugs out, but it's not perfect.
I've been wearing a mask since they said they were beneficial. mandate or no mandate. I've also done my own research on the subject and found the overwhelming majority of studies conclude that masks help.
See my response in #1. Large political gatherings, rather for BML or Trump will spread the virus. That said, a gathering where most of the participants wear a mask will spread it less. Still doesn't mean they should be endorsed.
I agree that there is a lot of improper mask usage out there. I think there needs to be a PSA campaign regarding proper mask usage.
Phew. There's the responses you asked for.
I don't live my life in fear, and I don't think this virus is the end of the world. I do think some people are over acting. Conversely, I do think some people are under reacting, or rather counter-reacting. I think both TDSers and libtard-haters have made this thing a battleground for some unknown reason rather than looking at this thing logically.

3) Fauci stated early on that masks didn't do anything. Then he stated later that he lied because they didn't want the public to buy up all the masks for the healthcare workers. Now he states masks does do something. So which Fauci are we to believe?

4) 3 gives way to point 1. We are no longer in danger of running out of supplies. Which means the curve has been flattened for a long time. So why are we still shutting down?

5) When does this end? Idiots are running around saying, "just wear the damn mask so we can open up". For how long? Am i supposed to accept that wearing the mask is what is needed for the rest of our lives?

6) When flu season starts, will the same maskers demand masks be worn at this time as well?

8) For the maskers, what is your limit before you tell the "officials" NO?

Can anyone just point out to me where a mayor has the legal ability to just decide how people will live their lives?

Just takes to a BRPD Sgt. At BQuick. He started laughing when I asked him about the masks. He said there is no law to enforce not wearing a mask.

Police have more important stuff to deal with
Unless they are walking around INSIDE a business they aren’t going to catch anyone anyway
Once outside you don’t have to wear it
I guess if a business calls the cops because someone gets pissed but it’s not like they are going to physically detain them until the police show up
I also can’t find any age requirements, does that mean to go inside a store you have to mask a toddler?
