It’s apparently the way it works I suppose. Those who aren’t and are hanging on to a fence board can just reply “not safe”.

Exactly, but I am really concerned with those who are 200 miles from the storm to make sure they’re safe too.

Spring, Texas checking in - safe! (North Houston)
Close call too. I think I saw a lone branch that fell in my yard. I fell asleep shortly after landfall and there was a nice 8 mph NWN breeze here.
I’m glad our Mayor and County Judge (both Democrats) shut down schools for 2 days. Block off several roadways in town that have historically flooded. Stopped garbage and recycle collection this week. Closed HEB and Kroger at 6PM. Hold an hour long press conference a piece. And Implemented a county wide curfew at 8PM last night.
