owner needing a remodel who flipped the frick out because they cant believe "it cost so much to widen a simple interior doorway" when they failed to account for it being in a room with a grid tile floor, a load bearing wall two inches out of square over 6 feet containing a vent pipe, a drywall covered junction box with 3 runs of different sized romex, and triple stacked crown molding from the 1990's. And it shouldn't be too hard to match that paint, they got it at Home Depot a few years ago. Or maybe it was wal-mart?

I started a DIY home reno. Doing everything myself. Only regret is taking on this big a job while living in the house. It's small, and I can only do one room at a time because the others are crammed with furniture. Looking back a camper and a container for storage may have been a pretty good idea!

Actually when I moved to Tx, I lived next to an A/C guy. Then I needed a plumber, went to a plumbing supply store, the guy gave me a great recommendation of a Dad and Son. My Dad was an Electrician.
I’ve built and flipped houses since the early 80’s.
