He didn’t have to do that but he is a good man for wanting to return it. I know if I lost my wallet, I would want somebody to return it to me.

There are a few good people left in the world.

That was a big dude. You know he was thinking they were in there hiding from him.

My wallet fell out of my pocket in the quad back in 2007 and I got a Facebook message from the guy that picked it up. No random charge on my cards, everything still in it. Was a nice surprise.

This happened to me. My MIL (no pics) borrowed my car and somehow my wallet fell out at Albertsons. Strangers drive up to my house while I am outside and returned it. They refused to take money as a thank you. Just the day before I had over $5k in cash in that wallet that I deposited in my bank account.

Good for him. I've reunited people with their wallets before and it's always a good feeling.

CSB.
I found an iPod on a flight and found the guys contact info in it and mailed it back to him. It felt great and he gave me an iTunes card as thanks.

About 5 years ago my ex wife was at Walmart on College and left her wallet in the cart. She called me since I lived closer and I ran up there to scour the parking lot. Someone had turning it into customer service. I assumed it would be long gone, but there are some good people left in the world.
In 2019, I found a wallet outside the porta potty on LSU's campus. I found the kid on FB and messaged him. No response. Mailed the walled to him on Monday. Never heard a peep from the kid. So.... there are also ungrateful shitheads in the world.

When I worked summers at Albertsons, it was crazy how many women left purses in the cart. Everyone is in such a damn hurry they'd forget their heads if it wasn't screwed onto their neck.

I was 11 and exploring in a patch of woods with my friends when we discovered an abandoned car. Found the owner's registration and realized their house was close by. We promptly rode our bikes to the person's house and told them we found their car.
We were rewarded with spending the rest of the day swimming in their pool and eating pizza.
It's one of my fondest childhood memories
The 80's were a glorious time to be a child

I found some old lady's purse in a shopping cart one night in Memphis outside the PetSmart on Poplar/240. It was a pain finding the address. It was a Jewish old folks home tucked behind some other businesses on Poplar.
Glad I brought it to her. She reminded me of my aunt.

Was it stolen? How does someone misplace a vehicle?

He's a strange black man ringing their doorbell. I don't blame them for being alarmed.
I probably would have just left it in the mailbox with a note.

That's some Hansel and Gretel shite right there.
But seriously, cool story. Would never happen today though.

My wife found a purse at McDonalds with $8500 cash in it. She returned it to Owner. She found the ladies business, card called her and told her she had her purse. The lady was on her way to the airport to leave for a vacation, she caught her just in time. She offered my wife a reward but she declined.

You know the only reason you are alive is you weren't cute enough to keep.
