I had a 1997 red 2-door Tahoe in college/early married life. People used to leave me notes on my windshield offering to buy it if I ever decided to sell it. I'd still be driving it today if the transmission hadn't gone out in the middle of Coursey Boulevard...loved that car.

2008 Mustang GT

Aside from the throwback look, it also had one of the must under-rated features:

Over the last decade(ish) they've migrated back to more of the 1990s look.

I had a '95 the spitting image of this one. HS kids would knock on my door and ask if it was for sale. Have a cousin that lives in Pensacola who begged me to sell it to her son. I finally had to sell it after my wife and I had twins.

I sold it to my mechanic, he still has it.. I miss that truck...

It was the last year the 4x4 transfer was on the floor..

I miss the simplicity, durability, and honesty of 1990s trucks…before the federal government’s CAFE program ruined them all.

Edit: I was agreeing with the 2 door Tahoe, but the image came through as a link instead of the image.
