While this is true, antibiotics will cure a sinus infection which usually happens when someone has the flu.

Z-Pak is also a steroid and you can never go wrong with taking steroids

Ah. Fair enough.
This is a weird one. I haven't had pretty much any congestion or anything. Just that heavy weak feeling, lots of fever (and breaking fever when I take medicine), and that gross sick "taste".
I think the other time I had the flu, I had all the congestion/head stuff.

I'm on day 4 and noticeably on the down-swing. I anticipate feeling pretty normal by Sunday. Even if a Z pack did work, by the time it kicked in, I'd be done anyway.
I don't like to take antibiotics unless I need them because my doctor growing up gave them to me 4+ times per year.
