Been meaning to adopt a family for Christmas. Then I see the lists and I shy away from it. Finally got off my butt and found an organization that vets the wish lists and sent an email. We shall see if they respond.

Of the ones that scared me away? Electronics and phones and stuff.
I usually adopt thru catholic charities but they didn’t do gifts this year.

My kids were adopted after Katrina. No idea how they heard about us but I specifically remember them getting Care Bears and my little ponies so someone who knew them must’ve said something. It was a super nice gesture and I try to pass it on now.
