This doesn't sound good. Prayers for her safety!

This doesn't really make any sense

How? If her car was found in an impound lot and the towing company says they found it near the bridge and it was damaged, that's a reasonable assumption to go on without any other details.

Is there damage to the car? Seems like whoever had the car impounded might have a little more info.

Has a wreck, stunned, wanders off. Or somebody hits here deliberately and abducts her.

no it doesn't, that's why I suggested that she might be in jail, they don't typically impound a car that quickly if it's abandoned, they put a sticker on it giving you time to move it, but if you're arrested, they pile on and have it impounded

Near the Mississippi River bridge probably means on a street under the bridge. Meaning right where riverside towing is. So they probably grabbed it with the quickness.
