Hey Aspy
Whew. My FOMO was creeping up on me like cheap boxers.
May switch to some vino shortly.

One of these winters I plan on visiting your fine state
I'm not from Arkansas. I've only been here 6 months. I haven't hit Hot Springs. But the best place I've seen is the Buffalo River. Easy to paddle, but incredibly scenic. May is the best time to visit.
Even once I move back to NOLA, I'll visit here just to paddle and camp overnight on that River.

There's horse trails in the Buffalo too.
It's legit
I'd be down for ponies. But I was only raised in big cities. So I'm just glad my parents brought me outdoors and camping as a kid.

After being around 300° asphalt for the last 5+ hours, I'm definitely glad I have a joint rolled and waiting at the house.
I am surprised there isn't 24 hour liquor delivery in Louisiana. But I did love living in Bayou St John. With a bar that's open till 5-6 am, and a 24 hour corner store that sold liquor, it was nice when you were ready to party.

I usually canoe down the Spring River once a year around Many, AR.
Haven't been this year. It's lots of fun. Water is super cold. Prolly go sometime in August whenever I stop getting sun burned.

I've kayaked bayou St. John many times. And smoked all hours. Lawd knows alcohol is available 24/7 in Nola.
It's a shame the crime and schools are terrible. I LOVE my home town, but I'll never live there again.

That looks close to a project I could work on if I wanted to. But the thought of moving to Jonesboro, AR sounds horrible. And by then, I'll have whored myself out enough that I won't care about the money.

I don't have kids, and there's nothing like playing drums in New Orleans. I'm glad I left, to see what the rest of America is like again. But I've missed her ever since I've left. So it's inevitable I'll be back.

I heard it's in a dry county.
Plus, I'm 34. I've hit that point that hitting on college girls feels creepy.
